"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

lol That's a shout out. and if you want to submit a picture, you click the buttom 'Submit' at the top of the page. Then you click which option your thing is (like is it a scrap, or a deviation or a website button, etc) and then follow the steps that it says to load a picture and put in the description and stuff like that. I say explore the website, you'll learn a lot of aspects to it, but it's a fun website and you'll probably end up getting a lot of comments and critique as you put more stuff up.
